Model the dispersion of Ecoli via groundwater*

The diffusion of chemical pollutants into the environment via groundwater is well understood. The models employ the equation of diffusion (heat equation) modified to include the effect of the slow movement of the drift aquifer. Bacterium, in contrast, although driven by differential concentrations, may adhere to clay particles and bloom in population. These blooms  in turn become a release point for additional contamination.

Model this spread of bacteria into the surrounding environment, with the eventual aim of setting safe separation distances from manure holding ponds.
