I will start with an overview of the zoology of link homology. Then I will
explain how to (non-trivially) categorify 1 via the so-called
gl(1)-homology. I will use This homology theory to exhibit a new
categorification of the Alexander polynomial. In time allows, I'll
relate this to Heegaard--Floer homology and explain how this proves
Dunfield--Gukov--Rasmussen's conjecture.
