In order to complete this degree in 4 years, it is crucial to take MTH 317H in the first year since it is a prerequisite for all the required 300- and 400-level courses.

Graduate-level courses are not required for this degree, however some Advanced Track students may want to take them to replace 400-level electives.

- The sequence MTH 418H/419H prepares the student for the first-year graduate-level algebra course.
- The sequence MTH 327H/429H prepares the student for the first year graduate–level analysis course.

* Note: The order of the two core sequences, Analysis and Algebra, can be reversed. In other words, the 418H/419H sequence can be taken during the sophomore year, followed by the 327H/429H sequence during the junior year.
